Computer Credit, Inc.

North Carolina-based medical collections firm Computer Credit, Inc. (CCI) offers MD-COLLECT as a quick, easy and cost-effective way to refer accounts to CCI for collection service. MD-COLLECT is designed exclusively for small group, private practice physician offices to assist with the collection of overdue self-pay accounts.

CCI has served physician clients for over 30 years with great success. However, most of CCI's physician clients refer accounts to CCI via special forms or faxes and we wanted to provide these clients with a better way to refer accounts to CCI.

MD-COLLECT is the answer! Now, physicians can send their overdue accounts to CCI in an automated and economical way.

Computer Credit, Inc. (CCI) and MTBC have partnered to improve and accelerate collections for hospitals and private healthcare practices.  Through the integration of the companies' respective platforms, clients of MTBC's Premium Plan will be eligible to receive the MD-COLLECT service at no charge.  CCI and MTBC have jointly designed an ASP featuring a secure, user-friendly web portal allowing practices to access account status and collections activity 24/7.  MTBC performs medical billing and transcription, and offers a free EMR, for healthcare providers nationwide in all specialties.  Its Premium Plan, billed at 5% of collections, includes MD-COLLECT, integration with a third-party EMR, online insurance eligibility verification, electronic prescribing, lab connectivity, web site scheduling for patients, and automated appointment reminders.

CCI'S HISTORY

CCI, an employee-owned, licensed collection agency founded in 1972 in Winston-Salem, NC, entered into healthcare collections by servicing physicians with a low cost, effective solution for collecting patient accounts that were seriously past due. This solution included a series of up to five collection letters, for which CCI charged a low, fixed fee regardless of balance size or account age.

Over the next two decades, the service changed when CCI partnered with three leading providers of healthcare information management systems for hospitals and developed interfaces to those billing systems. While CCI continued to service physician clients, CCI began servicing hospitals and large healthcare systems in a very automated and economical way. Again, all for a low, per account fee.

Today, CCI collects for nearly 400 hospital groups across the U.S., including Texas Health Resources and Memorial Sloan Kettering. And, the debt collector hundreds of healthcare providers have trusted since 1972 now offers MD-COLLECT as an easy, automated and economical means for individual physician and small group practices to collect unpaid accounts.
