MD-COLLECT is a solution for physician practices by Computer Credit, Inc. (CCI), a reputable leader in healthcare collections and automated collection software since 1972. A McKesson Business Partner since 1985, CCI pioneered the design of integrated collection services with today's predominant HIS providers. Typically embedded within a provider's existing patient accounting, financials, or patient management system, CCI empowers its customers to achieve better collection revenue through enhanced patient dialogue and communication. Automation is the cornerstone of CCI's solutions which are proven, trusted, and maintenance-free.
MD-COLLECT / CCI are based in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina. The western-most point of the Triad, Winston-Salem is also home to Wake Forest University, Texas Pete Hot Sauce (yes, Texas Pete), Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, The Riverrun International Film Festival, and the North Carolina School of the Arts. CCI'S HISTORY CCI, an employee-owned, licensed collection agency founded in 1972 in Winston-Salem, NC, entered into healthcare collections by servicing physicians with a low cost, effective solution for collecting patient accounts that were seriously past due. This solution included a series of up to five collection letters, for which CCI charged a low, fixed fee regardless of balance size or account age.
Over the next two decades, the service changed when CCI partnered with three leading providers of healthcare information management systems for hospitals and developed interfaces to those billing systems. While CCI continued to service physician clients, CCI began servicing hospitals and large healthcare systems in a very automated and economical way. Again, all for a low, per account fee.
Today, CCI collects for nearly 400 hospital groups across the U.S., including Texas Health Resources and Memorial Sloan Kettering. And, the debt collector hundreds of healthcare providers have trusted since 1972 now offers MD-COLLECT as an easy, automated and economical means for individual physician and small group practices to collect unpaid accounts.
